Here, you will first visit the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the most iconic and sacred temples in India. This ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is renowned for its stunning Dravidian architecture and spiritual significance. This temple is considered as the richest temple in India. As you enter the temple, admire the intricate carvings and the majestic idol of Lord Padmanabha, reclining on the serpent Anantha. The serene and spiritual atmosphere of the temple offers a perfect setting for a peaceful and reflective moment with your loved one. Please note that entry to the temple is restricted to Hindus, and a strict dress code is also enforced.

The museum has been named after Lord Napier, a former Governor-General of Madras (now Chennai), and is situated amidst a beautiful botanical garden.

Alternatively, you can visit the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, which is also known as the Puthenmalika Palace, and showcases stunning traditional Kerala architecture. This palace was constructed in the 1840s by Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Balarama Varma. The name of the palace is derived from the word “Kuthiramalika”, which translates to “Palace of Horses,” that is inspired by the intricately carved wooden horses that adorn its exterior. Currently, the palace has been transformed into a museum, offering a captivating collection of artifacts from the royal family, including paintings, sculptures, and musical instruments.
