    Your sightseeing for the day begins with a visit to the Happy Valley, which is a vibrant hub that embraces the rich culture and tradition of the Tibetan community.

    Dalai Hill
    From the Happy Valley, you will take a short trek to the Dalai Hill, where you will not only see a magnificent statue of Lord Buddha, but will also have a chance to witness the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

    Kempty Falls
    After soaking in some spiritual energy at the Dalai Hill, you will ascend down and then continue your journey towards the famous Kempty Falls, which is a majestic waterfall where the flowing water plunges from a height of about 40 feet into a large pool below.

    Day 3Dhanaulti – Chopta

    Today, begin your day with the gentle rays of the rising sun, freshen-up, and have a delightful breakfast. You must start your day early today as the journey to Chopta is long and there is a lot to be explored on the way.

    Local Sightseeing

    Surkanda Devi Temple
    After bidding farewell to your cozy hotel, you will visit the Surkanda Devi Temple, which is an ancient temple that holds immense religious value in the Hindu mythology. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Surkanda Devi, who is considered as an incarnation of Goddess Durga and is showcased as a fierce warrior with eight arms.

    The temple is counted among the 52 Shakti Peethas, and as per the legend, it is believed that the head of Goddess Sati fell here while Lord Shiva was carrying her immortal body which was dismembered by Lord Vishnu’s ‘Sudarshan Chakra’.

    The Surkanda Devi Temple is located on top a hill at an altitude of about 10,000 feet, and it offers awe-inspiring views of the Himalayas. To reach the temple, you will either have to trek up to the temple from Kaddukhal or you may use the ropeway to reach the temple, but at your own expense.

    Journey to Chopta

    After seeking the blessings of Goddess Surkanda Devi, you will descend down to the road and continue your journey towards Chopta.

    Tehri Dam
    However, you will take a small halt at the Tehri Dam to witness this huge architectural marvel that is constructed on the Bhagirathi River and is counted among the largest dams in Asia & the tallest dams of the World.

    Omkareshwar Mahadev Temple
    Next, you will travel further towards Ukhimath, where you will visit the Omkareshwar Mahadev Temple, which serves as the winter abode for Lord Shiva after he seeks refuge from Kedarnath during the winters.

    As per the legend, it is believed that Mandhata (an ancestor of Lord Rama) gave up all his worldly pleasures and did penance by standing on one leg for twelve years, worshipping Lord Shiva.

    Impressed by his divine dedication, Lord Shiva appeared before him in the form of Omkar (sound of Om) and blessed him at the very spot where the temple has been built. Apart from that, it is also believed to be the place where Anirudh, the grandson of Lord Krishna married Usha, the daughter of Vanasur.

    Arrival in Chopta

    As the evening approaches, you will continue your journey towards Chopta, which is referred to as the ‘Mini Switzerland of India’ due to its lush meadows and majestic Himalayan vistas. Finally, you will reach Chopta in the evening, where you will check-in to your cozy hotel to enjoy a delicious dinner and to grab a restful night’s sleep.

    Day 4Chopta – Tungnath – Joshimath

    Today, wake up to a beautiful morning in Chopta, where your day unfolds with a journey brimming with spiritual experiences and natural wonders as you wander off to Joshimath.

    Trek to Tungnath Temple

    So, relish a hearty breakfast and then you will begin your day with a visit to the renowned Tungnath Temple, which is perched at an elevation of 3,680 meters (12,073 feet) and is considered as the highest Shiva temple in the world.

    According to the legend, it is believed that after the war of ‘Mahabharatha’ in Kurukshetra, the Pandavas sought the blessings of Lord Shiva to absolve themselves of the sin of killing their own relatives.

    However, Lord Shiva disguised himself as ‘Nandi’ (a bull) to avoid them as he was deeply disturbed by the sins committed in the war.

    After a long search, Bhima saw the divine bull grazing near Guptakshi, where he went and held it by its tail and hind legs.

    But as Lord Shiva was reluctant on meeting the Pandavas, he vanished into the ground and later reappeared in different parts: with his hump emerged in Kedarnath, his arms in Tungnath, his face in Rudranath, his navel & stomach in Madhyamaheshwar, and his hair in Kalpeshwar.

    To reach Tungnath, you will have to undertake a four-kilometre scenic trek through the pine forests and alpine meadows.

    Chandrashila Peak (optional)
    If weather and other conditions allow, you can further trek to the Chandrashila Peak, which is believed to be the place where Lord Rama meditated after killing Ravana, the demon king of Lanka.

    Drive to Joshimath

    After spending some quality time at Tungnath, the abode of Lord Shiva, you will descend down and continue your journey towards Joshimath, where you will check-in to your cozy hotel to grab some rest, have a delicious dinner and to settle in for a peaceful night’s sleep.

    Day 5Joshimath – Auli

    Scenic Drive to Auli

    Today, wake up, savour a delicious breakfast and then you will embark on a scenic journey to Auli, which boasts of having one of the finest ski slopes in India.

    Arrival in Auli

    But, before you start your journey to Auli, you have an option of either reaching Auli by car or via the unforgettable Gondola ride on the Auli Ropeway, which is counted among the highest and longest ropeway projects in Asia. The gondola ride not only promises a thrilling riding experience, but also offers breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas.

    On your arrival in Auli, you will first visit the stunning Auli Lake, which is also known as the Chenab Lake. This man-made marvel is one of the highest artificial lakes globally, and it provides water for generating artificial snow on the ski slopes during the dry winter spells.

    Auli Sightseeing

    If there is snow on the slopes, you can also partake in skiing at an additional cost. The skiing equipment and gear is available on rent locally, and experienced instructors are also available at the site to provide guidance and support to ensure a safe and enjoyable skiing experience.

    Gurso Bugyal
    After this, you will embark on a short trek to Gurso Bugyal, which is a picturesque meadow that is adorned with vibrant flowers and lush greenery.

    Depending on the time of the year, you will either stroll across lush green meadows or traverse the snowy terrain.

    From the Gorson Bugyal, you will have an opportunity to witness the majestic Nanda Devi peak, Trishul peak, and various other Himalayan peaks.

    As you wander across the meadows or the glacier at Gurso Bugyal, you will witness an enchanting sunset that casts golden hues over the snow-clad landscape, making it ideal for capturing breathtaking photographs.

    Dinner & Overnight Stay

    Soon, you will descend back to Auli and check-in to your cozy hotel to indulge in a delicious local Garhwali cuisine. But, before retiring for the night, don’t miss the chance to gaze at the twinkling stars in the clear mountain skies of Auli.

    Please note: In case of non-availability of rooms in Auli, you will have an option to stay in a camping tent or else the night stay would be in Joshimath.

    Day 6Auli – Rishikesh

    Early Start & Panch Prayag Sightseeing

    Today, wake up to a refreshing new day adorned with the soft hues of dawn illuminating the snow-kissed peaks of Auli. Freshen-up, have a hearty breakfast, and then begin your journey a bit early today to make the most of your day as you will not only be travelling to Rishikesh, but will also be taking short breaks at Joshimath, Vishnuprayag, Nandaprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag to see some major attractions.

    Sightseeing in Joshimath

    Shri Narsimha Temple
    You will begin today’s captivating journey by bidding farewell to the beautiful hill station of Auli. On your arrival in Joshimath, you will visit the Shri Narsimha Temple in Joshimath, which is dedicated to Lord Narsimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu that is believed to have the head of a lion and the body of a human.

    Here, you can seek the blessings of the divine and pray for the well-being of your loved ones.

    Panch Prayag – Sacred River Confluences

    Vishnuprayag Next, you will head towards Vishnuprayag to see the confluence of the Alaknanda and the Dhauliganga rivers.

    After this, you will leave from Joshimath and will take a short pause to marvel at the enchanting Jogi Dhara Falls, where the cascading waters weave a tapestry of natural splendour against the rugged landscape of the mountains.

    Nandaprayag
    You will then, continue your journey towards the sacred city of Rishikesh through winding roads with breathtaking landscapes. On the way to Rishikesh, you will stop at Nandaprayag to witness the merger of the Alaknanda and the Nandakini rivers.

    Karnaprayag
    This will be followed by a small halt at Karnaprayag to see the Pindar river merging into the Alaknanda river.

    Rudraprayag
    As you travel further down, you will stop at Rudraprayag to witness the harmonious union of the Alaknanda and the Mandakini rivers.

    Devprayag
    A journey further down the mountains will take you to Devprayag, the birthplace of the river Ganga, where the river Bhagirathi unites with the Alaknanda River to form the holy river Ganga or the great Ganges.

    Adventure Experience at Shivpuri (Optional)

    After a short journey from Devprayag, you will reach Shivpuri, where you have an opportunity to partake in an exhilarating river rafting expedition to the Ram Jhula in Rishikesh, but at an additional expense that is payable at the rafting counter.

    Arrival in Rishikesh

    You will finally arrive in Rishikesh in the evening, where you will check into your comfortable accommodation to enjoy a delectable dinner and a restful sleep.

    Day 7Rishikesh – Haridwar

    Morning Yoga & Meditation

    Today, wake up early before dawn and head towards any of the riverside ashrams to join an invigorating yoga & meditation session by the banks of the river Ganga.

    After this refreshing session, return to your hotel to freshen-up and to relish a delicious breakfast.

    Local Sighseeing

    Beetles Ashram (Swarg Ashram)
    Soon, you will begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to the iconic Beetles Ashram, which is also known as the ‘Swarg Asharam’.

    This spiritual sanctuary was once home to the renowned Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and it gained worldwide fame after the legendary band, ‘The Beatles’, sought solace here in 1968 to learn transcendental meditation.

    Here, the peaceful environment and the graffiti-adorned walls will surely immerse you in the nostalgic aura of the 1960s.

    Neelkanth Mahadev Temple
    After exploring the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ashram, you will continue your journey to the Neelkanth Mahadev Temple, which is a significant temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

    It is believed, that the temple is built at the site where Lord Shiva consumed the poison which emerged from the churning of the cosmic ocean (Samudra Manthan) by the ‘Devas’ (celestial beings) and ‘Asuras’ (demons).

    Terah Manzil Temple (Trayambakeshwar Temple)
    After soaking in the spiritual essence at Neelkanth Mahadev, you will return to Rishikesh, where you will visit the Terah Manzil Temple, which is also known as the Trayambakeshwar Temple.

    This temple stands out for its unique architecture which features intricate carvings, colorful decorations, and a towering structure with thirteen floors, each adorned with the divine presence of various deities.

    We recommend that you ascend to the summit of the temple to capture a breathtaking panorama of the river Ganga with a backdrop of the majestic mountains that embrace Rishikesh.

    Lakshman Jhula
    This will be followed by a visit to the Lakshman Jhula, which is situated right next to the Trayambakeshwar Temple.

    The Lakshman Jhula is a historic suspension bridge that is believed to have been constructed on the spot where Lord Lakshman crossed the river Ganga using a jute rope. While crossing the Lakshman Jhula, you must capture the essence of the moment against the backdrop of the flowing river.

    After crossing the Lakshman Jhula, you will take a short stroll through the vibrant bazaar of Rishikesh to reach the Ram Jhula, which is another important bridge in Rishikesh that is named after Lord Rama.

    Evening Aarti (optional)

    On reaching Ram Jhula, if time permits, you will have an option to partake in the enchanting evening aarti at the Gita Bhawan or the Parmarth Niketan Ashram.

    Drive to Haridwar

    Otherwise, you will embark on a short journey to Haridwar, which is another sacred city that is graced by the presence of the divine river Ganga.

    On your arrival in Haridwar, you will check-in to your cozy hotel to relish a delicious dinner and to grab a good night’s sleep.

    Day 8Haridwar: Sightseeing & Departure

    Morning Ganga Snan & Aarti

    We recommend you to wake up early today before sunrise at around 4:30 AM and then you must head towards the Har-ki-Pauri to partake in the sacred ritual of taking a holy dip in the holy waters of the river Ganga during the ‘Brahma Murat’.

    After immersing yourself in the purifying waters of the Ganges, find a nice seat on the stairs next to the main Ganga Temple to witness a mesmerizing Ganga Aarti, which is a soul-stirring religious ceremony that pays homage to the divine Goddess Ganga.

    After this spiritual encounter, you can fill your vessels with the holy Ganga Jal and then you can come to your cab/hotel to keep them securely. Then, return back to your hotel to freshen-up and relish a delicious breakfast.

    Optional Temple Visit

    After breakfast, you have the option to either visit the Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi temples, or you may choose to visit the Maya Devi Temple and the Daksh Prajapati Temple.

    Option 1: Mansa Devi & Chandi Devi Temple

    Mansa Devi Temple
    If you opt for visiting the holy temples of Goddess Mansa Devi and Goddess Chandi Devi. Then, you will have to first walk to the Mansa Devi cable car point or you may take a rickshaw at your own cost to reach there.

    From there, you will embark on a serene cable car journey to the top of the Bilwa Parvat to visit the Mansa Devi Temple. Here, you will not only have a chance to seek the blessings of Goddess Mansa Devi, but will also get an opportunity to enjoy breathtaking panoramas of Haridwar and the river Ganga.

    Chandi Devi Temple
    After seeking the blessings of Goddess Mansa Devi, you will have to descend to the base and walk our agent, who will then escort you to the Chandi Devi cable car point.

    From there, you will again ascend up to visit the Chandi Devi Temple, which is nestled on top of the Neel Parvat. This temple is considered as a Shaktipeeth, and it is dedicated to the Goddess Chandi, an incarnation of Goddess Durga, who is believed to have killed the demons Shumbh and Nishumbh.

    From the top, you will witness beautiful panoramic view of the Haridwar city, the river Ganga and the lush green hills of the region.

    Option 2: Maya Devi Temple & Daksh Prajapati Temple

    But, if you choose to visit the Maya Devi Temple and the Daksh Prajapati Temple, then, you will have to take an e-rickshaw to the Maya Devi Temple, which is also counted among the 52 shaktipeethas.

    This temple is dedicated to Goddess Maya Devi and it has been constructed on the same spot where the heart and the naval of Goddess Sati are believed to have sanctified the earth.

    The Goddess Maya Devi is believed to bless her devotees with marital bliss and family harmony.

    Daksh Prajapati Temple
    After the Maya Devi Temple, you will have to meet our agent at the nearest spot on the main road to facilitate your journey further towards the Daksh Prajapati Temple in Kankhal.

    This temple is dedicated to Maharaja Daksh Prajapati, the father of Goddess Sati. The temple is a sacred site and is believed to be the place where Goddess Sati gave up her mortal body after jumping in the infamous ‘yagna’, held by her father in which Lord Shiva was not invited.

    Return Journey to Delhi

    Soon, you will bid farewell to Haridwar and begin your journey back to Delhi. However, after a few kilometres, you have the option to create some more cherished memories by indulging in exhilarating water rides and recreational delights at the Crystal World Amusement & Water Park (but at your own cost).

    Tour Concludes

    After a couple of hours journey, you will reach New Delhi, where we will drop you at your chosen destination, be it the ISBT, the Railway Station, or the Airport.
