This temple was established more than 2500 years ago by Lord Krishna’s grandson, Vajranabh and it holds profound historical and spiritual significance. This temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is believed to stand on the spot where Lord Krishna established his kingdom, the mythical city of Dwarka. This ancient temple is an integral part of the Char Dham yatra that includes, the Badrinath Temple, the Jagannath Puri Temple and the Rameshwaram Temple in Kanyakumari. The Dwarkadhish Temple is situated on a small hill at the cusp of the Gomti river and the Arabian Sea and the temple complex houses various sacred ponds & shrines dedicated to other deities.
