The town is enveloped by the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and offers beautiful, picturesque views of various high mountain peaks like the Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli.
Enroute Binsar, you have an option to either visit the Kainchi Dham and the Dhakoney Waterfall or visit the Pari Tal / Bhalugaad Waterfall, Mukhteshwar Temple, Chauli ki Jali and the Kapileshwar Temple.
Kainchi Dham
If your choose the route via Chhara & Lohali, you will first visit the Kainchi Dham, which is revered ashram that was established in June 1964 by the holy saint Neem Karoli Baba to serve as a spiritual retreat and a center for social service & spiritual teachings.
