Upon your arrival in Delhi, you will be greeted by our friendly representative. He will pick you up from your chosen location in Delhi and escort you to Nainital, the charming capital of Uttarakhand’s Kumaon Division.

Naina Devi Temple
After a short rest, you will visit the Naina Devi Temple. It is a beautiful temple situated atop the Naina Hill near the Naini Lake.

This temple is dedicated to Goddess Naina Devi. It is counted among the 52 Shakti Peeths, as it is believed that the eye of Goddess Sati fell here during the great Shiva Tandava (dance of destruction).

G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo
This zoo was established in 1984 at an elevation of approximately 2,100 meters above sea level. It is one of the highest zoos in India.

Its location provides a natural habitat for species that thrive in cooler climates. Here, you will see the Royal Bengal Tiger, Tibetan wolves, sambar deer, leopard cat, the Himalayan bear, and several other animals.

Local Sightseeing 

Eco Cave Gardens
Next, you will visit the Eco Cave Gardens. It is a fascinating and educational tourist attraction and is quite popular among families.

The nature park features various interconnected caves. These caves are designed to mimic the natural habitats of animals found in the Himalayan region.

Each cave is named after the animal it represents, such as tiger cave, panther cave, bat cave, and so on.

Tiffin Top Excursion

Tiffin Top (Dorothy’s Seat)
This will be followed by a visit to the Tiffin Top Starting Point. It acts as the base for the hike up to the Tiffin Top.

The Tiffin Top provides a magnificent panoramic view of the Himalayas and the Nainital town. It is also known as Dorothy’s Seat.

It was named after Dorothy Kellett, an English artist. She used to sit and paint at this spot.

You will either have to hike up the hill. You may also opt for a horse ride to reach the top, but at your own expense.

Return to Hotel
