Upon your arrival in Jaisalmer, you will be receive a warm welcome by our friendly agent who will then escort you to your cozy accommodation within the historic Jaisalmer Fort.
Built in 1156 AD by Maharaja Rawal Jaisal, the Jaisalmer Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is among the very few forts in the world that are still inhabited by people. The fort houses a museum, various shops, restaurants, residential accommodation, hotels, canons, etc.
So, after check-in, you may relax a bit and then you will start with the local city sightseeing tour, where you will be visiting the key monuments within the Jaisalmer Fort, like the Raj Mahal (Royal palace), Jain temples and the Laxminath temple.
After this, you will head towards the Patwon ki Haveli, which is another famous landmark. The haveli was built in 1805 by Guman Chand Patwa, who was an extremely wealthy man. The haveli is known for its beautiful paintings, intricate carvings, lavish furnishings and grand architecture.
After this, you will head towards the Gadisar Lake to spend some quality time by choosing to go boating or sit by the banks of this beautiful man-made lake. The Gadisar lake was built by King Rawal Jaisal in 1156 AD to provide a source of water to the city. As the sunset approaches, click some beautiful captivating pictures and then head towards the ancient Shiva Temple for the evening aarti.
Later, come back to your hotel for a scrumptious dinner and a restful sleep in the famous Jaisalmer Fort.
Feast on an appetizing breakfast and you will then head beyond the city walls to the Sam Sand Dunes.
Enroute the dunes, you will first visit the Jaisalmer War Memorial, a museum that holds great historical significance as it pays homage to the indomitable courage and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces during times of the Indo-Pak Wars of 1965 and 1971.
After this, you will then head towards the Amar Sagar Jain Temple, which is another fascinating architectural marvel and is counted amongst the major Jain Temples in India. This temple was built alongside a man-made lake by Patwa Bafna Himmat Ram in 1928, and is dedicated to Lord Parshwanath. Featuring small domes and intricate carvings, this temple is an excellent example of the Dilwara style of architecture.
Your next destination will be Kuldhara, an abandoned village with a gloomy history. The legend goes that the inhabitants of Kuldhara as well as 90 more villages left their homes overnight to save the honour of a Paliwal Brahmin girl from Salim Singh.
After this, you will head towards the Sam Sand Dunes, where you may spend some quality time on the dunes or indulge in various adventure activities like camel safari, jeep safari, quad biking, parasailing and paramotoring. The key highlight of the day is to watch the mesmerising sunset over the dunes.
Today, you will check-in to a luxurious desert camp at the Sam Sand Dunes, where you will witness a traditional welcome with dhol & aarti, followed by an enchanting cultural programme, and a delicious vegetarian dinner with local cuisines.
Later, you may go to your cozy Swiss Tent to relax and unwind.

After a magical night in the desert, its time to continue your journey towards Tanot & Longewala. These historic sites hold significant importance in the context of the Indo-Pak wars (Battle of Longewala).
Our first destination for today is the Longewala Yudh Sthal, a powerful symbol of our armed forces’ courageous defense during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
Following this, we’ll pay our respects at the Sadhewala War Memorial, a poignant tribute honoring the unwavering bravery and selfless sacrifice of our Indian soldiers during the Battle of Longewala in 1971.
After this, you willl make your way to the renowned Tanot Mata Temple, dedicated to ‘Awadh Mata,’ a revered local deity. This sacred site offers a unique blend of historical significance and spiritual devotion. Legend has it that during the Battle of Longewala, approximately 400 bombs were dropped by the Pakistan Army, yet none exploded within the temple’s vicinity. In a remarkable gesture, the Pakistan Army General visited the temple to seek forgiveness from Tanot Mata. This iconic temple even found its place in the 1997 Bollywood blockbuster ‘Border’ and continues to draw millions of tourists each year.
After our spiritual and historical sojourn, we’ll drive back towards Jaisalmer and visit the Bada Bagh, a garden of royal chattri cenotaphs built for the Maharajas of Jaisalmer in the 16th century. Click some fascinating pictures here during sunset and then you will soon head back towards Jaisalmer.
Today, you will be residing outside the Jaisalmer Fort in a nice, cozy hotel that offers a beautiful view of the fort. Here you will check-in to unwind and relish a delectable dinner.
Today, wake up, have a delicious breakfast and roam around the local markets to pursue some shopping and to collect souvenirs, handicrafts, textiles, leather products and more.
